REVIEW (Little Spoiler)
“The Good Detective” Intriguing Viewers Attention With Its Suspenseful Storytelling
When Park Gun Ho enters the violent crime unit 2 of the Seobu police station and claims to have killed and buried an innocent person, chaos breaks out. 18-year veteran detective Kang Do Chang (Son Hyun Joo), is working toward a long overdue promotion. The scenario is not helpful for his promotion. Additionally, he partnered with Oh Ji Hyuk (Jang Seung Jo) who is little crazy and upright detective.
Lee Eun Hye (Lee Ha Eun), the daughter of murderer Lee Dae Chul, whom Kang Do Chang detained and imprisoned five years ago, has been reported missing to Ji hyuk.
Do Chang and Ji Hyuk both discover that Gun Ho and Eun-Hye are connected and that Eun-Hye is alive. They started looking for her using gun ho’s credit card.
Journalist Jin Seo Kyung (Lee Elijah), who is at the police station, is sniffing around for a scoop when she fortunately bumps into Gun Ho, which leads her to the case the police have been trying to contain.
Another best thing developed through Dae Chul’s case is a close relationship between;
- Do Chang and ji hyuk (Meaningful Bromance).
- Seo Kyung and ji hyuk (Slight romance hint was also an adorable treat).
Additionally, Eun Hye, who lost her father, was given a new family (Kang Do Chang), which completed the series’ happy finale.
“No Love Triangle” (Only in the Start Lee Elijah has respect for her boss).
“No kissing scenes” (Only Good Chemistry & Romance Hint).
“Dead men are heavier than broken hearts.”
“The good detective is a nice watch that can be appreciated by a wider range of audience. It’s a complete pack contain Crime, Action, Drama, Mystery, Slight Humor and Romance (Hint)”.
