C-Drama Review | “Falling Into You” Drawing Viewers Attention With Romance, Drama And Sports Side
In Drama Falling Into You, The ML, who is in college, falls in love with the FL at first sight. He was captivated and is pursuing the FL with zeal. He chose a specific university only to be instructed by the FL. Because the FL is many years older than the ML, there are the expected push-pulls and rejections. They are, however, rock strong now that she has accepted his love. It was wonderful to witness a relationship built on trust and true love. In anything, the FL should be commended for her boldness and fortitude in confronting conventional preconceptions.
This is an angst-filled light sport drama with a powerful, swoon-worthy noona romance running alongside. Of course, there are cliches and tropes; after all, this is a Chinese drama. Thankfully, they’re kept in check. It does not feel too staged. Plots are often allowed to unfold spontaneously.
Super high! I’m thinking much higher than you’re My Glory, and I must have watched that one three times! These fluffy dramas are always good to return to when you need a dose of sweetness!
Romance was so good and was really hot. A lot of sweet moments with strong chemistry.
There was a love triangle (female lead friend). But not annoying and supportive.
Many hot kisses.
No breakup or misunderstanding (healthy relationship goals).
My personal opinions about the story of this drama
All in all, this is a lighthearted drama with no serious drama. The love triangle is practically non-existent, which is simply my way. Neither of the major protagonists actually entertains/ interacts with the other “romantic interests”.
Also, as someone who avoids unpleasant situations at all costs, this episode unexpectedly didn’t have many instances when I was pushed to do so; this is an uncommon occurrence for me. This is probably one of my top 10 best – loved Chinese dramas.
